According to NotebookReview, Intel announced that Santa Rosa is to be released on May 9th. Yes, the IDA function only activates when the second core is not being stressed otherwise that we be a pointless function. The tool only activates during single threaded operations and whenever you're not using a lot of applications. For example, if you're playing UT2004 (which is a single threaded game), and you're not running any heavy applications in the background, the second CPU will underclock and the primary CPU will overclock.
