Can I actually watch television at a Starbucks with my Qosmio?

All,

Hello. My first post here might clue some of you in on my mediocre knowledge of laptops. I'm not familiar with all of the tech-terms but 'm learning.

My question is as stated in the title: Can I actually watch television at a Starbucks with my Qosmio?

My model is th G35 AV 660. One of my defining reasons for purchasing this laptop was for the possibility of watching television on a laptop outside. However I'm not so sure this can be done with the G35 AV 660 right out of the package.

There's a "coaxial antenna" installed... When I read "antenna" I thought: television! However I'm not exactly sure if this "coaxial antenna" can pick up television air waves without some sort of enhancement or modification. This might be why the laptop came with a coaxial antenna adapter (looks like you can attach an airwave antenna to it)

Do I need to buy a airwave antenna and hook it up to the coaxial antenna adapter to watch television outside? Or should the television tunner be able to use the coaxial antenna alone to pick up television airwaves?

Any help with this would be well received. Thanks.

I would think that it would all be explained in the Owners Manual

or another option would be a slingbox

I need an external antenna to receive much of any TV signal from my Qosmio AV650.

IIRC the Qosimo has a coax in port. Therefore all you'll need is a regular antenna and you should be able to watch all the aerially broadcasted programming in your area.

You're not going to be abe to watch cable or satellite broadcast stuff since you'll need to actually plug in for it (usually with a decoder box that the cable provider gives you with your subscription), and I seriously doubt that starbcks has cable/satellite TV jacks for their customers to use.
