inspiron 1150 upgrade questions

Hello,

I have an Inspiron 1150 with a Celeron 2.6 processor.

I have read that this laptop will only accept socket 478 mobile procs, is this true?

also what would be the fastest processor I can upgrade too?

The notebook will only accept Pentium4 or Celeron CPUs with Mobile tags on the CPU. Considering the age of the notebook unless you happen to roll onto a pentium 4 for dirt cheap the upgrade would hardly be noticible.
