Dev/Work/Play laptop suggestions needed!

Hi!

I'm looking for a good laptop that would follow the following specifications:

- cost must be under $2000
- 14" or 15" super sexy and high resolution display because I code all day and I need a laptop that can display visual studio and eclipse font pretty decently. I have an IBM T42 with 1024x768 resolution and it makes my eyes burn... also a nice keyboard would be a plus
- core duo 2+ ghz
- 2gb ram
- decent graphics card. I'm not really expecting to play games on it, but I develop stuff with OGRE and slow graphics cards start dying when I do that. I was considering aw sentia 3450 but its graphics card is sort of shitty so I don't think that would be ideal.
- 100gb+ 7200 rpm hd
- as lightweight as possible, I used to have a 14 lbs sager for a while, that wasn't fun at all
- battery life has to be as long as possible, 3 hours or more.
- tablet pc functionality is always a plus

Do you guys know if such a model even exists?

Thanks.

Toshiba R20 sounds pretty decent too, even though it doesn't have a good graphics card. I wonder how much those integrated intel cards really suck.

lol even with my little Visual Studio experience, it sucks with the integrated graphics on my Asus S5n.

comapl hel80 sounds perfect for you, just without the tablet pc functionality.

check it out at powernotebooks.com

Compal HEL80 or Asus A8 series. (A8Jp is probably the one you want).

I would recommend the Asus A8 series, or the IBM T60 series with the 14" SXGA screen and the ATI X1400 (More for your mobile work than your gaming)

the compal hel80 does sound like a pretty sweet laptop to be honest. And it has a ridiculous resolution too!
