Bluetooth in Vista... *sighs*

Okay, so I rely on Skype to avoid blowing tons of cell minutes on my nightly phone time. And I use a bluetooth headset with Skype. And as of right now, short of cracking the Toshiba drivers, which I don't want to do because it's a) unreliable and b) illegal, I can't use my bluetooth headset under Vista, and thus can't use Skype.

Sager's posted everything but Bluetooth and the TV-tuner, which I don't have. Does anyone, anyone at all, have some sort of Vista bluetooth drivers that don't need cracking for the 5760? Seriously, I bought this thing with BT and now I can't use it. Where's the love?

Unfortunately you're out of luck until BlueSoleil releases their v3.0 software -- they announced it way back in Nov. but haven't said anything since.

If you get desperate -- try this out http://www.dev-toast.com/2007/01/05/...-in-vista-rtm/

It's out! Clevo download site, for anyone interested. (clevo.com.tw). Haven't tested yet, but looks highly promising.

I was told over on Notebookreview that it's out on Sager's site, too (haven't went to check that for myself, tho').

I just installed Vista Business on my 5760 and Bluetooth came up just fine. I didn't have to install anything extra and I didn't let it update at the point that I'd checked my Logitech MX900.

Yeah, mice and PDAS and keyboards are built into Vista, but not much else. Headsets, which is my only reason for having Bluetooth at all, aren't built in and there's no way to add them except third-party software.
