sager 9880 s/pdf output + cable ref help

hello!

i have a 9880, XP latest update. i can't find the user manual now. I need to use the s/pdf out. Am i suppose to see any kind of light coming out? i don t see any and nver seen any before. If there is a setup (bios/control panel etc..) what is the step by step?

my other question is can you point me to a link with the exact reference of the type of cable i ll need once i see the light

ok thx a lot. There is no particular details regarding the type of cable i should use to get the digital out. could someone knows extly the type? does a 1/8 eletrical > RCA work ( digitaly graded of course) or do i need the 1/8 optical one? throug the menu my s/pdif is enabled already. i checked thx. i hope i m clear enough

On my 9860 it's a standard 1/8" electrical jack connection.

the 9880 and 98xx models have the electrical 1/8. Indeed. Working great!! thx!!!
