SOLUTION: M1210 boot hanging

i was having the same issue as you guys with the hanging when bootin.. sometimes it would even boot at all i'd have to restart it a few times before it would boot... but i seem to have find the fix, i have restarted my laptop in every different way i can think of (on ac/on battery) i even tried taking battery out putting it back in, waiting over night and everything and no hanging yet.. overall i'd say i restarted it at least 20 times... now i did a number of things to fix it, but i think the biggest thing i changed was an updated version of the intel chipset software which i got off their site (version 8.1.1.1010) versus dells version which is 7.something... im pretty sure thats what fixed it, after a fresh reformat i installed the notebook software then the new chipset software then the wireless then everything else, and i get NO hanging... I have the newer chipset installation file, but it wont let me upload it to here...

IF you have Daemon or Alcohol and the AV Package it will do that. It has to do with the AV driver and the imaging software. You'll have to disable the Alcohol or Daemon software from booting up. Then it should work fine.

Reg. Cleaner seems to fix the problem. However, try using all the features in the logitec software and you will see a fault.
