Flip the unit over. Find a screw in the middle near the battery and unscrew it. This is for the keyboard. It is the second longest in the unit.. if you ever find the longest in the chassis below the keyboard, you're digging too deep :-P Remove the three short type screws from the bottom of the palm rest. Flip the unit over and push the pins in on the keyboard and lift it up. Remove the three silver screws with flat heads on the palm rest. Remove the three screws on the hard drive chassis to lift it up and be very careful.. that ribbon cable has a sticky pad where it connects to the board with a shock-sensor; you don't want it to stay stuck to the sticker. Transfer the rails that hold the drive down to the new one and reverse the process.
