Can you dual boot a mac? How is they keyboard?

I'm a PC guy who has never touched a mac before and never really wanted to. I want to get my feet wet and try writing. I see that the mac books 13" can run microsoft office which I really want. It would be mainly used for web surfing, writing, and chatting online.

How is the mac book keyboard compared to a IBM T60? Is it limsy or have flex like a dell keyboard or HP?

How long does the battery typically last in one of these notebooks? Are they easy to swap for added mobility?

But to get to my main question. Can you dual boot it into os X and windows xp/vista?

Being able to run a game command and conquer: generals would be a HUGE selling point for me and might push me to the dark, evil, alien side of the pc market to the mac side lol.

Would it work on a dual boot to run windows xp/vista and run a game such as command and conquer generals?

I can't answer your keyboard question, however, from everyone I have heard talk about them, the MB keyboards are incredibly good.

The MBs last around 5-6 hours on battery and you don't even have to turn the computer off to swap them. Just put it to sleep, change it, wake it up, and everything is exactly how you left it.

And yes, you can dual boot OS X and Windows and when booted into Windows the machine will work like ANY Windows computer out there. Be aware, however, that the MBs have integrated graphics and any graphics intensive games might not play as well as you expect. A MacBook Pro is what you would want for gaming.

The mac book pro is to big for what I am looking for. I wish Apple gave the option of having a non integrated video card on any model.
