Use Macbook as monitor? (when gaming)

Thread Starter
I am starting to feel that I need to purchase a tower, so I can actually do some modern gaming. That's right the Macbook is all I have at the moment, no desktop. So I was wondering, if I was to buy a pc tower, can I hook it up to my Macbook and use it as the monitor, so I can save $? Can I possibly do the same for keyboard/mouse (I doubt it)?

Any comments are welcomed. Thanks

This isn't possible for any laptop computer, IIRC.

Yea Not sure there is a laptop that can do that it would have to be a pretty nice video editing machine to even get close to that. I'd say if you need a cheap monitor (or a temp monitor) Go to your local craigslist site and see if there are any there. Around Raleigh where I am I was able to get a 19" Dell CRT (Now use for backup) for $40
