I'd have a heart attack if I found out I had a bun in the oven, but that does look like a very nice configuration. Enjoy!

The x1900 didn't delay your order at all?

I've also got a m5790 bun in the oven. Currently in phase 6.

Congrats.

Nope, the ship date was the same with either card. I believe they got a large shipment of x1900's in on v-day and cleared up the queue.

As if the waiting in general wasn't bad enough, I had a message from Robert at AW this morning while I was in a meeting asking me to call him because he had to talk to me about that status of my order. He was at lunch when I called back so now I'm playing the waiting game waiting for him to call me back.

Man, I hope the news isn't too bad.

I called yesterday to check on my order status, since I've been in Phase 6 for a week. And they said that during testing they found an issue that needs to be resolved, and if they can repair it, it should be shipped out by tomorrow.

Fingers crossed.

Good luck!

I spoke with Robert and he was just calling basically to update me on the progress as I'd mentioned my need to have the laptop by next Sat. hopefully...I teach part time at a lcoal university and would like to have the notebook configured and ready to use for the class that is starting that day.

Robert was very nice and helpful and said that I'm actually in phase 4 at the moment and that they will be putting me into phase 5 "any minute now". He apologized for the prior rep indicating that I was already in phase 5. He also said that he'd call me back to update me whenever it progressed from one phase to the next. Very good customer service.

Maybe I should put in a call that I need my laptop ASAP.

Well well. Here is the good news: you're not alone. The bad news? You're not alone. As I stand and breathe, I guarantee that laptop is not going out tomorrow. How do I know? Check it out: same specs, SAME EXPERIENCE.

Well, I haven't heard back from Robert who would be calling me with each change in phases, BUT, the website now says:

- Your Order is Currently in Phase 5 -
