videos don't load fast

Ok. Why is it when i go to you tube or places like it that videos load very slow, and can't play through as soon as they pop up? Here are my specs:

Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz
1.5 GB RAM
256MB NVida GeForce 7600 GO
60GB HD

It's called a slow internet connection. It could be a host of conditions that are out of your control. It could be a popular video and hence, network congestion.

Please don't make me bring out the "tubes" analogy...
