THINNER laptops. Most Dells are beasts in the height department compared to other similarly specced laptops from other manufacturers.

hahaha brilliant!! My choice wouold be to have better quality finishes on their notebooks...so that the palmrest doesnt start wearing within a few months!!

Were you the one who started the better paint job on dell laptops? I upp'd that if ya did...I know what you mean, i barely even use my palm rests and yet it's already starting to mark up

In addition, I agree machina. I looked at my teachers MBP the other day, and it was about as thick as the BASE of my E1705, screen still protruding.

Yeah, my trusty old i8600 had a couple of worn patches on the palmrests as well which I found quite irritating. On previous models (the i8200 for example) Dell actually had changeable palmrests which you could get in different colours and everything. Maybe they should bring that back, lol.
