Greetings From A New MacBook Pro Owner!

Ladies and Gents!

My Macbook Pro came yesterday! I am blown away. It's lighter than it looks, very sleek and apart from getting used to the Mac OS for the first time it's awesome. The only thing that I had to research a bit was connecting to my wireless router with WPA security. I needed a firmware upgrade.

Well, off to get Microsoft Office, a new mouse, and download WOW for this computer!

See ya!

Wow will run great on the pro. and the fans never get to their fullest speed either!

im less than impressed with the current office stuff, even the "not-mS" stuff. it all seems somewhat slow.

but as office04 is the standard more or less, i own it. i use it so little now adays, it gets the job done.

I got mine last week too. Working through the quirks of the different OS, but I'm already starting to get uncomfortable with PC's. I had wireless issues too, I bricked my router trying to connect

Nah, wasn't the laptop or me. Just dumb luck. Right about the time my laptop found the router, it stopped connecting to the internet. Networks fine, just doesn't recognize the internet plug in it anymore.
