Core 2 Duo extreme sounds nice and so does 4gb of ram and the 3 hard drives.

Soo nice, ive been waiting for a Conroe in a laptop, i was usually met by resistance that it would never happen... How wrong will they be when this comes out.. Here's a short blurb about it. http://www.taiwan-technology.com/edi...0109-clevo.htm

That website lordhigh seems a bit shady.

Seeing phrases like "Cool…!!!" and "If you like playing game, it's also your best accompanist." written in an article strikes me as a bit unprofessional and also they mention SLI which i doubt it will have and the GeForce Go 8800 which has not been anounced anywhere and personally i think never will because of the huge power requirements and the huge thermal output.

I hope i'll be proven wrong as that sounds like an amazing machine but i wont put much faith into that article.

Edit:
After a quick search i found this about the GeForce Go 8800.

"Those who are waiting for GeForce Go 8800 series to appear on notebooks are in for disappointment since there are no plans for that. Apparently, 90nm G80 proves too much for a notebook to handle. Therefore only mainstream G84 and value G86 will be available for notebooks, targeted for release in early Q2. Consumers will have to wait till Q3 this year to enjoy high end GeForce 8 series graphics on their notebooks when the die shrink happens."

So maybe and this is a big maybe, you can buy a D900C and upgrade to the 8800GTX or whatever it will be at the end of the year. But seeing how me and most of the first 9860 over got screwed over with their graphics cards "upgrades" (had to completely change motherboards) i am not feeling very optimistic about it.

Clevo systems don't use MXM. . .

Current ones don't, doesnt mean future ones won't. This looks like some Clevo prototype info was leaked, because all the sites that once had a little info about it are now void of any info on it. They must (hopefully) have been breaking NDA's and the info was removed. I hope something like this machine gets released. *crosses fingers*

Every non-sager clevo seller has pasted MXM all over every release since the 1st d900t. I am not holding my breath yet.

Anyway i guess we'll see in a few weeks. I'm not planing on buying it though. I think my 9860 still has a couple of years left in it if i upgrade the gfx module. I have the 9890 motherboard so thats no problem.

At the core of the D900C PHANTOM, users can choose currently between two different NVIDIA graphics cards: the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX with 512MB of RAM for high-performance PC gaming, or the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M with 512MB of RAM for those looking for a high-performance workstation class performance. Users can additionally select a choice of a single graphics card or two in NVIDIA SLI mode for the ultimate in gaming performance and image quality. With two of the fastest NVIDIA GeForce notebook GPUs in NVIDIA SLI mode or a NVIDIA Quadro GPU, this new graphics powerhouse is the ultimate mobile gaming and workstation machine. EUROCOM D900C uses Nvidia MXM-IV (Mobile PCI Express Module) for easy upgradeability to new generation of graphics technology i.e. to GeForce Go8xxx series. By using a consistent mechanical graphics interface in the form of high-performance MXM-IV, Eurocom is able to introduce a variety of innovative PCI Express graphics solutions as quickly as desktop PC graphics.

For the hardcore PC user (gamer or engineer alike), this means the EUROCOM D900C PHANTOM provides blistering fast response times that are sure to turn heads.

Dear experts, What PSU is in Clevo-D900C. the link says official words that QX6800 is not possible cuz of wattage http://forum.notebookreview.com/show...=110398&page=9
Clevo offering 4-65W E6xxx variants, and 1-75W X6800. Sager and Prostar being clevo's clones. Now why not Clevo is expressing thoughts about Agena Notebooks. Yes the 130W QX6800 will hard to put in there but why they are no working for Agena (Barcelona's desktop version).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athlon_FX
Model Clock rate Codename TDP
Athlon 64 X4 2100 2.1 Agena 95
Athlon 64 X4 2300 2.3 Agena 120
Athlon 64 X4 2500 2.5 Agena 120
Unknown Athlon 64 FX 2.5 Agena FX 120

This bring into account what PSU are they using in D900C. is it atbatt.com or OPS (powersupply.com). What Wattage has clevo's PSU.

Will be better to avoid D900C and go for 2.1-Agena noteobook which Fudzilla/Inquirer claim to OC-able to 3.2GHz. Maybe that will also have DX10-GPU R630 maybe. cuz right now clevo is "considering" for nvidia-DX10 gpu (and QX6800).

Thank you.
