Vista freezes with memory card insert.

I'm running a 3880-v and I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate. I've been using this since early beta's and now I'm on the final version. Whenever I insert a memory card into my card reader (Texas Instruments 1620 with UltraMedia) the mouse freezes and the entire machine becomes unresponsive.

As soon as I remove it everything goes back to normal.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know of a fix?

Device manager detects two PCMCIA adapters. If I isntall windows xp drivers on the top one my audigy 2 card stops working. if I install the drivers on the bottom one, nothing changes.

I'm worried Sager won't go out of their way to fix this problem for the 3880.

As much as I love my laptop I feel that if I'd purchased any popular brand name laptop like a dell or acer I wouldn't be having a problem like this and at least one person would have something to say about it.
