I tryed today to get my Travelmate 270 to display using my TV.
I used the S-Video on the 270 in conjunction with a S-Video to Composite Video cable (2 year old Sony Vega Trinitron TV seems to be devoid of S-Video input).
So after some testing, I found that the drivers required to do this require Windows 2000 or XP (I was running 2003 Server) and have changed to 2000 Pro, with SiS drivers and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (Media Player Classic) as the video player.
The screen mirrors onto the TV fine but on any attempt to play a video (XviD, MPEG-2 etc.), it plays only on the LCD screen and not on the TV.
Why is it so?
How do I get my videos to play on the TV output?
