A friend of mine told me that a D900T replacement is in the works, and a quick check on the internet revealed this:

So now the question becomes this for all of you lamentable 9860 owners, like myself: When do we get offered an upgrade that truly benefits us, welcomes us bastard children back into the fold, and doesn't insult our intelligence??
It appears that the chassis may be similar to the 9860, and the motherboard is designed for an Intel processor. I mention this because I remember reading all the blather about the motherboard offsets being different than what we 9860 owners had when the D900T came out, and although I never got to check this myself, it made sense from the standpoint that the D900K housed an AMD compatible motherboard. There must, however, be a way to make this board work for us.
I think it's time for Sager to step up to the plate and offer 9860 owners a true upgrade path from the inherently defective units we now possess. How about it, Sager?? PC Torque??
