Now over the last month or so I've been facing this issue. Every time I restart my machine I cannot get online. i.e. Intel Pro /or MS Wireless both can connect to the signal, but they default to blank 0000 or this Fix 169.x.x.x IP.
I have to restart a couple times and it still does not get fixed. I found somewhere that when I remove the 'Intel Wireless Card' from the Control Panel > System > Device Manager and it gets redetected things start working.
This is irritating. A solution and if someone else is facing the same.
