Anyone have disassembly instructions for MT3418?

Looking to take apart my MT3418 to apply artic silver 5 to the cpu, north bridge, and gpu. Anyone know where I could find disassembly instructions? I have tried to take it apart..but I dont want to risk breaking something. It runs unusually hotter than my previous laptops.

Thanks!

i would look into other ways to investigate the "run warm" issue of ur laptop before taking it apart. Applying as5 is not normal for laptops (only on some crazy emachines&"old" gateway models). Gateway has been improving since then.

http://www.eserviceinfo.com/ offers service guides for many laptop brands/models - try it

how about a laptop cooler?

:-) the best laptop cooler is the amount of air space underneath it

i'll probably get blasted for the statement, but, from someone who owns a whole collection of thoses gadgets, 1-2 cm extra of space underneath the laptop is the best way to keep it cool. And it is SOOOOOO quiet!

cheers ...

what did you use to elevate the laptop?

I found 4 round sized 3 1/2 pound weights, that stand 1 1/2 inches and fit right on all 4 rubber feet on the bottom the notebook.....if you have the notebook elevated (as I do cuz it's used as a desktop replacement) then you don't need a notebook cooler , good air-flow is key
