Charging New Battery

for best battery life results out of my new laptop - can i charge the new battery while using the notebook simultaneously? or should i let the notebook sit shut down while the new battery is being juiced up?

I think it shouldn't be a problem. It only means that the new battery will charge much slower if you are using the laptop at the time. I could be wrong.

Get 2 batteries and let the one that you're not using charge up and then send it to me so that i can test it.I will however sell it on Ebay but at least you'll know the results for future reference.....Andre
