No you cannot use 32-bit drivers and how did you accomplish disabling driver signing permantly? I know that you can do this on earlier versions but as of RTM they disabled that ability.

Thanks

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
that'll should disable it permanently (make sure youre running command prompt as Administrator)

current Vista builds have option to disable.
hit F8 at windows bootup.
Scroll down to "Disable driver signature enforcement"
Start Windows normally
Note- this only disables signed driver enforcement for active session, and most drivers include both the x86 and x64 versions. x86 drivers will NOT install in a x64 enviroment. It is true you can run 32-bit programs, but they run under 64-bit emulation.

about the applications: a vista x86 application is compatible with the 64bit version of vista. The only thing that isn't compatible are the drivers

no, the software controlling it might be 32-bit but the actual driver installed for the BT controller is 64-bit

yes. also note you can't use legacy 16-bit applications in 64-bit versions of Vista.
