Hey All,

So i just bought a new MacBook and im switcher (review coming ummm in a while =p ). And i want to install openoffice but it says i need x11, what is that(and what does it do) and is it something I should trust or is it kind of a shaddy app? Thanks for your help

its not shady in any way. its somewhere on your install dvd.

anyways. its annoying to use IMO. i just use neo office.

google it, its the same, built for mac.

i did try openoffice, but just got tired of x11.

If you need X11 is on your DVD's or on apples download site...get it from your recovery DVD's if you can...
