C&C 3 Demo out

I dont know about the rest of you, but i would say 50% of the reason i got rid of my Ferrari 4005 and got this M1710 7950GTX was in anticipation on this game.

I hope its good.

Downloading it now. Loved the command and conquer series. But with newer rts like company of heroes it might be hard for the "old school" style of rts to compete.

I played one level so far

Much better graphix, Real Video Clips, Play is exactly the same

Just a continuation Cane is back.....again lol

But if like the C&C series, think you will like it

good game, but couldn't run at absolute max graphics. med/high on most things @ 1920x1200 just to get around 30fps (fraps) on the campaign level,

specs - I have the exact same specs coincidently as the guy above me dave-p

Christ - 2.7GB for two missions and three FMV segments.

It looks okay, though. I have a feeling it's going to be skewered when put in contrast to Supreme Commander, though.

Supreme Commander doesn't hold a candle to C&C. Gameplay is much more intense with C&C.

Thats comparing demos...

As for graphics, i had everything maxed 1x AA 1920x1200 and it ran perfectly smooth with my M1710 7950GTX. ( didn't have fraps running but im pretty sure the game is limited to 30fps to regulate game speed)

As far as comparing to company of heroes, to different games. not everyone likes being stuck with WWII tech.

It won't run on my 1710 w/ vista, every time I launch the game will minimize to task bar. Every time I click on it in the task bar it just re-minimizes, strangest bug I have seen.

Well if you want to compare tech warhammer has nearly the same gameplay as company of heroes. However after playing a skirmish or 2 I have to say, Im pretty impressed. For some reason the graphics arent looking to good and I have everything on at least medium/high. But unit balance seems pretty good, and of course Cane is back!
