Any reviews of the Voodoo m:370 / Hypersonic CX6?

Has anyone seen any reviews of the Voodoo m:370 / Hypersonic CX6, or the Mitac 8050 that these models are based on?

This notebook has the specs that make me think it might be The One, but I don't want to pat with money until I've seen a review.

get onto the voodoopc (NOTEBOOK & ENVY Forum) forum, then run through
the posts, there are a few m:370 posts with review/benchmarks.
Don't bother using the search, its useless...i could not get anything
to show up.

Thanks - but I always get a bit nervous when looking at reviews posted on a companies own forums. If you ran a forum from your own retail site, would you let bad reviews of your products stay up there for long? I wouldn't!

I'll still check them out tho - thanks.

Yea, thats an excellent point but that was the only place i know
of people actually getting this machine. everywhere else just
started, so you might have to wait quite awhile until people here get theirs.

If they didn't want negative comment posted about their products they would have kicked me off of their forums a long time ago. There have been dozens (maybe hundreds) of unhappy people that bought the m460 and there are lots of negative reviews on the Voodoo forums about that one.

That is a very nice PM rig WITH the ATI 9700. However, I understand that for around 3000K one would like a review first. The thing that really piques my interest is the ATI 9700. The only advantages that I see with this rig over the nc8000 (that is arriving today BTW) that I have on order is the ATI9700 and the 60gig/7200 rpm HD. Otherwise I would be surprised if the build quality/etc were up to snuff to the nc8000. Plus, the nc8000 has the multibay. I have the multibay battery which should give me 8 to 10 hours of realistic battery run time. Can't beat that.

mammyrammer ... review. Some pics on this thread-pg1,2.
While there, just for fun, I spec'd the m:370 - here's my results:

For a PM 1.7 _1 gig ram _60/7200 HD _DVD burner _3 yr warranty
Voodoo was $3935 - hypersonic-pc was $3145

Voodoo offers M10 / 4xDVD+ / no bluetooth / wlan G only
Hypersonic offers M11 / 2xDVD- / bluetooth / wlan b & G

And just fyi ... I have seen tons of negative posts there, and they have not been removed. But what is missing is the m:460 - maybe too many negative issues w/that system.

If you have G you have B.

They quit selling the 460 there were LOTS of complaints about that system.

Actually they didnt "quit" selling the 460 because there were lots of complaint. It was because they wanted to get everything fix and retested. After everything is done and check, they will start taking the orders for the 460 again. That's what I read from the Voodoo forums.
