I’ve got an asus z83v laptop in good condition with a couple of light scratches on the outside lid and very light palm wear that I’m looking to either sell for $775 (was $875) which includes insured USPS delivery (US only) or use as a partial trade towards a macbook pro. I’m not looking for any other laptops (other than a macbook pro) nor any other trade items since I’ve got a nice desktop and a powerbook that I’m using till I move the z83v.
Here’s the specs:
ASUS Z83V
2.0Ghz Dothan (Centrino)
2GB DDR2 ram
X700 128mb
120GB western digital hard drive
17” 1440x900 screen resolution (glossy)
Built-in wifi, tv/fm tuner, webcam, microphone, Bluetooth 2.0
DVD-RW dual layer
5 USB ports, NIC, modem, and carry bag.
Comes with the following software: xp media center edition 2005 oem software with coa., z83 users manual cd, asus media@show se 2.0 cd, asus mobile theater v3.0, asus power director v3.0.1208 cd, and asusdvd cd.
Also comes with a carry bag.

I got this from kaltek last year (November/December) and added 1GB of ddr2 ram, otherwise it’s the same as I got it from him. The only issue that this laptop has, other than the slight outside lid scratches, and very faint palm marks are:
#1) Comes with no driver disk, but you can d/l the drivers for the z83v from the asus website.
#2) If you ever wanted to remove the cpu, you would have to drill-out one of the 4 screws that hold the cpu. Someone had tried to remove one and probably used the wrong size screwdriver.
#3) I don’t have the original box for shipping but can ship in a 17" powerbook box. (this line was edited, cause I had stopped in mid sentence)
#4) This one is really no longer an issue, but it’s worth mentioning that the F key had issues when kaltek had it and he would have to depress it 3-4 times for it to work. I’ve had NO problems with this however and it may have fixed itself when I removed the keyboard for the extra 1GB ddr2 ram upgade that I made.
I’ve done a bit of trading here but have plenty of heatware refs as rereg and also ebay refs as cblalack.
Send me a pm with any offers and I’ll be glad to respond. Heck, I’ll even ship first if you’ve got more heatware refs than me.
