Only vbios I know of for the 7700's is for the 7800 and 7900. Can you get your buddy to save his for you to try? You can find how to and files at this site. Just try not to kill your card with a flash.

You may want to check the latest beta driver for nvidia. It mentions:

• GeForce 8800 GTX, GeForce 6800GT: Far Cry–Underwater plants
render incorrectly.

...although it specifies Vista x86 version. Not sure what OS you're using, but it might help you.

Can someone help me with my question?Maybe AW-Isaac?

Well technically all that would do is overclock your 7900 to 7950 speeds at a hardware level. Seems that is about all that is different between the two. You should see if your 7900 will run at 7950 clocks without a heat issue first. Then you can just use nibitor in the link above to create your own vbios with those speeds if you don't want to use something like rivatuner. Not sure why you would want to flash to 7950 vbios when you can just do the same thing with software (if your gpu can handle those speeds). You can also change the voltage to the gpu as well, but in a laptop with limited coolin you may be in for problems. What are you tryin to do exactly?

Then again maybe Isaac can help you there .

i think hulioni said everything, i can only add,

yes its possible. is it recomendable? NOT at all, this would just add up to the heat of your computer... again this is a personal choice it really depends if you want to compromise on temperature for those few extra frames
