I want the Dell E1505, it is worth $1825 maxed out?

Basically, I'm in the hunt for a notebook....and I really like the E1505.

I've maxed out everything...from the hard drive to the highest core 2 duo.

I've heard complaints about this model....and that I'm spending "too much."

I admit, I see better deals on ebay....but not always with all the options I want. Is this comp worth it?

I'm not a big "gamer," but I'm also not just a casual user. Thanks.

I have a pretty much maxed out E1505 that is brand new and never opened which I need to sale because I bought an M1210 instead. I can't return it to Dell because I got a nice deal on the 2407WFP monitor with it which I want to keep. Which specs were you looking for? If interested just PM me I guess.

If it's what you need then yes, it's worth it. I've been using a E1505(and a I6000 before that) for about a year and it's a great laptop. I'm trading it to a friend as I want something more powerful now, but I'd never get rid of it otherwise. It's well built and just an overall great notebook. The x1400 is enough for most games to play decently. Though new games taht are very gpu intensive may not look as great as it would on a higher-end gpu. If you're going to be playing alot of games that really tax the gpu you might want to find something with a x1600 in it. The x1400 is a decent gpu, but it is low-end. You can get up to a x1700/7700 in a 15" notebook, so look around a little. I know Asus has some really nice 15.4" notebooks with either the x1600 or x1700 in them, which would be great for gaming.

Anyway, as great as the E1505 is, for the money you're spending you can get a more powerful notebook. Just something to think about.
