I have a Presario 2105. I recently added an internal wireless antenna to my system so that I could run a mini-pci wireless card. I was watching a video on an external monitor while I was piecing it back together, something that I have done countless times. When I plugged the lcd cable into the port, I saw a small spark in the plug. I disregarded it at first, but then realized that my backlight was no longer working. I was wondering if someone could give me a method to test whether I just shorted out the backlight inverter, or the actual circuitry in the video card. Or give me advice on the likelyhood of which occured. The video still displays on the screen without the backlight and works fine on an external monitor, so I am lead to believe that the inverter is the problem. I just want to know before I spend any money on it.

Thanks in advance,
Nate
