dell 640m 1px lines on screen?

hi. i have a deal duo core 2ghz with 2 gigs of ram.

i noticed usually when i leave my computer on overnight and i look at it in the morning, there are FULL of horizontal 1px green lines going across my screen. what could be the reason? anyone else experience this?

it has also happened on other random occasions.
