hello everyone, im new to the laptop world and I was wondering if I can upgrade my core 2 cpu? just curious because I saw a site selling core 2 cpu's....thx

If you have the core duo processor, yes you can upgrade to the core 2 duo processor. (this is assuming you are talking about dual core by intel)

We need to know what laptop you have and what cpu you have in order to tell you what you can upgrade to.

you CAN upgrade to a faster processor, but I don't think you'll see a significant difference from doing so. Just my opinion

If you want to make your computer run faster, you should consider upgrading the memory. It's much more cost-effective.
