OK, I was running low on hard drive space on my laptop so I decided to back up my Guild Wars screenshots on my external drive and delete them (they're saved in bitmap format so it freed up a lot of space). Fast forward a couple months - I'm helping a friend back up his computer and deleted everything from my external drive that I thought was backed up somewhere else. Unfortunately, I forgot that I had deleted my copy of my GW screenshots on my desktop too, and now I don't have any of my old screenshots. 
I'm almost sure that I've written over the space on my laptop drive, becuase it is almost full again. I have probably written over the space on my desktop drive because I've been doing some video conversion stuff. But my friend barely used any of the space on my external drive so the screenshots are probably still there. Can someone suggest some software (preferably free) that I can use to recover the screenshots? Thanks a bunch!
