m9750 might kill you

I was just wondering if the m9750 will include a x7800 or x7900 processor. Also if the new hybird hard drives will be included in it.

Btw for most of the people that are hoping for the new centrino pro line up dont count on seeing it in the m9750 since they do use core 2 dual mobile processors, which are totally different from the centrino line.

As for Video card options at the current moment we are looking at a Nvidia geforce go 7950gtx in SLI giving you some tremendous firepower for any of the current dx9 games except of course Flight Simulator X which doesn't like to play well with others.

Hybrid HDD is still a little way off for this platform I think as I have a feeling Alienware wants to release it with as few bugs and glitches as possible to continue the sweet reputation of the Arima derived chassis and the stability that all the current m9700 owners have come to know and love.

Wait and see and then pee your pants once the final results are in.

Actually I was talking about Intel's new Core 2 Duo Extreme processors that are suppose to come out in Q2/Q3.

Okay lets clear this up...it is said that Intel will introduce Core 2 Duo Extreme mobile processors, and I was wondering if the m9750 will have these processors in them.

All cleared up. I think the answer will be "no" at first release unless of course Alienware somehow gets Santa Rosa released at launch which is what a lot of people are hoping for. I've read that Intel is going to be releasing their Santa Rosa platform along with the release of the Mobile Extreme line. If it is cutting edge technology then there will be a good chance that the m9750 will have it at or just after launch.
