Hi ,

i want to upgrade my ram to 2gb from 1gb

can you please guide me whats is the best ram that will work with the installed one

This is a 1 GB stick of PC2 5300 ram that is exactly what you need for your computer. I've ordered from memoryx twice before and I've been very happy with their service. With shipping, you're looking at just over $200 for the whole upgrade, which isn't bad.

Ouch, $200?

I'm running this exact kit in my M1210:

And I know a lot of others are running this as well. I got it about 6 months ago when it had a rebate for $120ish. Now it's $135 without a rebate at Newegg. Could probably find it cheaper elsewhere, but Newegg is great if anything goes wrong.

Newegg usually does have the best prices. Check out buy.com also. I ended up getting 2 gigs from buy.com for $170 last summer. Check out sites like shopping.com where they list the prices of multiple stores.
