Any info if us D900T users will get a Core 2 Duo motherboard upgrade that fits in our Chassis?

This would be the only motherboard upgrade i think would be worth the money in our notebooks.

I don't think it will happen. For one thing, at least a few of the D900T components were not manufactured with Vista or 64 bit computing in mind, so we would be looking at replacing more than just a motherboard. It just wouldn't make sense for anyone to manufacture a replacement motherboard that is already somewhat functionally obsolete. Also, despite the fact that these companies which sold the D900T know of our dissatisfaction, they also know that we are suckers for the lastest and greatest, and that we'll pay top dollar for it...and give them our business again. Bad for us...great for them.

I am running windows vista 32 bit home premium with no problems. My MSI wireless / bluetooth works fine. Tuan tv tuner works great and so does the reatek sound card.

As for windows 64 bit edition.... That sounds like quite a challange.

Windows VISA Experience rating 4.2!!
