Wireless woes

Thread Starter
Been having some issues on the 802.11g card on my 9860. I still cant decide if its my router or the laptop but I have always had issues connecting to my linksys wrt54g router.
Usually the laptop will give me a "limited or no connectivity" problem but once I plug it into the ethernet, the wireless will suddenly connect.
Now, I am having this issue where it will say "please wait while windows connects..." and it wont even try and connect. I saw somebody else had this problem in a past post.

I have power cycled everything. I have ran the winsocks program. I tell it to just use windows program to configuire wireless. I have reset my router. I have tried every little trick in the book I could think of.

I think it will connect to other networks but I don't think its just my router that is causing the problem. Can ANYONE think of other stuff to try? I am desperate and frustrated...
Thanks ~Kray

I think the WRT 54g is a very reliable router . I have a had a similar problem with my New Sager 9890 with Piss Poor wireless strength since new . What i found was Sager seemed to have forgotten to hook up the secondary antenna and That made the Biggest difference with connections and strength. So open it up and make sure both antenna are connected or your wireless will be Piss Poor.
