I honestly don't believe that my great experience w/ AW is some kind of exception, so please refer to my review and my phase game status haha. There are many of us who's experience was negative but AW CS, the AW mods, and the AW reps on these forums turn around most of those in experiences into good ones.
Most of the members here know that I've always been a DIY kinda pc guy, I've owned Dells, Compaqs etc., so obviously AW CS has nothing to gain from just singleing me out and providing me w/ great service. I didn't purchase an ALX system, I pretty much purchased a bottom of the barrel Area 51 5550, what i mean it's a ripping system, but I didn't get all the "bells in whistles", I got the basic of the basic.
Well, I received my pc last wed., for some reason I couldn't get the video to work. Sent it back, they recieved on friday. Talked to CS and they put a priority on my system, and now monday all is fixed, they even fixed the case b/c it was damaged on arrival, and it is now on it's way back home...whoo hoo...
This is my great experience, but I'm no AW fan boy, I've always been open minded to other manufacturers...
|Aurora or Craig....Please feel free to edit my post. I apologize in advance.
....to your all time low ranking of sad.

For me at this point, the only purpose he serves is as a humorous post generator, as in "what funny pic/reply can I make from his last post?" And I'm sooo glad to see Yang has picked up on it as well.
Commish? Don't even try to justify your remarks and/or presence here, you have long ago passed the point of tolerance and are now well into the area marked "household pest."
And Mods? as Ruxor said....Please feel free to edit my post. I apologize in advance.

That would automatically fetch a c+ for me.. at least. Again, The main question I have is what about the testing process. It sounds like they may indeed be a bit understaffed right now... which is great for them - means business is booming.
However don't point out a selling point is a thourough test process, have a customer wait a month for delivery through the phase system.. to be shipped a machine with defective ram/video/hard drive/case warping etc. If you are going to take that amount of time, plug yourself as an industry leader, and charge a premium for testing.... the problems on arrival rate should be like .2% and i have to say it does seem quite a bit higher. I think perhaps the other problem is.. if a machine goes out with a problem, they should do whatever they can to replace it.. i.e. once they get a tracking notice send another machine out that day. But that's me.. and I am used to IBM and Apple support, both of which are superb. RMA parts usually arrive within 24 hrs.. even when ordered at 5 pm i usually have them in by noon the next day. Now I would LOVE to hear that is coming from alienware.. it would be a machine I would order.
I am neither a hater or a fanboy.. i appreciatre some things about the systems, but I have to say i would be leary paying a price permium over say a sager 9860 - and not just becuase it's for coloring and such.. but becuase when compared.. pctorque seems to have a better customer service plan in place.
It's a time for Alienware to take a look at what they want to be. If they want to go dell.. go dell. If they want to stay large boutique, stay that way. Boutique's require even more attention to detail and customer service though.. and sell wat you sell. Mostly I would relaly like to know about the inspection system.. what is done. I assume it is just running an application suite? Can some owners verify that?

In fact, there is an option in your user profile that allows you to block posts from certain people. Maybe you should take a look at it...
