If you think I am defending you, you are mistaken...

I think instead of your advice that AW decides what they "want to be", that perhaps you should figure out what they are before you spout off.

As stated repeatedly ad nauseum, Alienware can't send out a replacement computer the same day, because they don't pre-build and stock units. They don't do that because there are too many options for them to be able to stock that many pre-built systems.

I'm sick of hearing people bitch about having to wait a few weeks to have a machine built. If you want a machine sent out the day after your order, and that's more important to you than receiving a high performance machine built to your specs, then go with Apple, IBM, or Dell. Simple as that.

I think you want Alienware to be Dell, but we want exceptional computers built to our specifications at a great price, not crippled hardware with overnight shipping and a coupon discount.

And you have no idea what your talking about with the "Sager is better" than AW BS. Until you have a breakdown of total sales, percentages of returns, and an analysis of their support and repair records, you're just blowing hot wind.

Talking of hot wind, have you met Commish? You two might get along well. He doesn't know anything about performance either, but he'll tell you about overnight shipping of cookie cutter computers, and coupons.

Before I formulate an opinion on anyones post, I like to go back and read a bit of there previous ones. Going to go ahead and agree with you on this one Hammer. Maybe h00ligan you are doing it unintentional but you sure seem to have a blatant hatred toward Alienware.

I generaly try not to post in these type of threads. But Aurora hit the nail on the head. I was a AW customer, unfortunatly one of the few that had things going wring form the beginning which turned me sour towards AW. We did find our way to the end thanks to the AW EMPLOYEES that frequent the forums, they really helped me out. It is/was their personal dedication to my situation resolution that will probably help me decide to by another AW in the future. This will be after their current flow is restructured or optimized per say. I am not bashing Aw, if you can read into my comment I am actually praising them but at the same time unhappy with my first experience. But the haters need to stop trolling and talking about a company they have never dealt with to begin with. All your statements are mostly based on non factual information you gathered from reading forums and reseller ratings. Untill you man up and buy a AW to create a real opinion based on experience stop spouting off useless garbage.

In fact, there is an option in your user profile that allows you to block posts from certain people. Maybe you should take a look at it...

You should take your own advice and then you also would be credible..look back at your posts and I see you do the same to Hammer...so who is credible now?...if you do not like what he has to offer, ignore it..at least he has experience with all phases of AW as opposed to those trolls Red mentioned in his post who offer nothing but taking up space and posting crap that you are saying he "blasts".

One other thing..as I read back at Hammer's postings..he has done more to help others with numerous problems than any other of us with the same length of time here..I think you are being a bit unfair, yes he is an AW supporter..OH, wait..This is the AW area of this forum so what do you expect..should he sing the praises of that company that gives you all kinds of free "propitiary" software and the ISP of the month just like the Fruit of the Month club, so you can spends a few fun hours totally re-formating your new what ever it is? Hammerhead backs up what he has to say, you just don't like how he says or does it...so ignore it like you tell him to.
