You think any company has a 0.2% failure rate? I think instead of your advice that AW decides what they "want to be", that perhaps you should figure out what they are before you spout off. As stated repeatedly ad nauseum, Alienware can't send out a replacement computer the same day, because they don't pre-build and stock units. They don't do that because there are too many options for them to be able to stock that many pre-built systems. I'm sick of hearing people bitch about having to wait a few weeks to have a machine built. If you want a machine sent out the day after your order, and that's more important to you than receiving a high performance machine built to your specs, then go with Apple, IBM, or Dell. Simple as that. I think you want Alienware to be Dell, but we want exceptional computers built to our specifications at a great price, not crippled hardware with overnight shipping and a coupon discount. And you have no idea what your talking about with the "Sager is better" than AW BS. Until you have a breakdown of total sales, percentages of returns, and an analysis of their support and repair records, you're just blowing hot wind. Talking of hot wind, have you met Commish? You two might get along well. He doesn't know anything about performance either, but he'll tell you about overnight shipping of cookie cutter computers, and coupons. |

In fact, there is an option in your user profile that allows you to block posts from certain people. Maybe you should take a look at it... |
