E1505 / 6400 A12 BIOS Thread

are there any known issues with the newest 6400 BIOS (A12)? I'm still running A04 and it's fine but Quickset won't run under Vista with the old BIOS.

I read about problems with fan speed always on fullspeed with A09. Are these problems fixed with A12?

I've been running Bios A12 for a while now. If you want, try looking through the versions to see which one suit your needs.

Bios A12

A13 was out, but there seemed to have been some issues so it disappeared from the Dell website. I've been using A12 since it came out. No problems to note

I'm using A13. All is working fine. I had no problems with A12 either.

I actually can't get Vista to load properly when LCD Panel Expansion is off. Vista shows the mouse cursor for a second and then then whole screen just turns black. Also, turning off the Numlock does not work, it appears to just turn on anyway.
