Hello - I have an HP ZV6005 notebook with a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GCA-4080N drive in it. I am currently only reading at 0.8x (1,100 KB/s). I have tried several softwares such as Nero and DVD Decrypter. It is happening with all disks (8cm phillips from camcorder, same content copied to an HP 12cm disk). I recently tried holding in the open button with no disk in the drive based on input from Wikipedia as a way to turn off Riplock. I also downloaded firmware from Dangerous Brothers. In both cases nothing changed. I am still burning at 8x (11,000 KB/s).

Any suggestions. I know this proble did not exist in the past.
