Do you think Apple will...

Refund my money to me after having the following problems in the 7 months I have owned my machine?

-Failed hard disk 1.5 months into ownership
-Failed battery 4 months into ownership
-Failed Keyboard (10 Keys) 6 months into ownership
-Failed Charging board 6 months into ownership
-Failed CD/DVD drive 7 months into ownership (just last weekend)
-Failed Hard disk (yes, again, just tonight) 7 months into ownership

I have never been more displeased with a product in my life. I would prefer to have my money back so that I can purchase from another company, but will take a new machine if it's the only top option.

What do you all think?

I plan on calling them and sending a letter in the mail regarding my issues. The CD/DVD drive issue and hard disk issue have not been addressed by their repair staff because they have happened in the last week and I really don't have the time or gas money to drive 2 and a half hours to an Apple store.

i think you have a good chance of a replacement.
as for a refund, thats just not how a purchase works

I figured I would ask if there would be a chance. I realize it's very rare but I saw no harm in asking.

I've got an appointment at the Genius Bar tomorrow evening which cuts my weekend at home short, but I need a computer. I'm beyond frustrated right now.

Damn...

I can understand an issue or two but I think when you get into this many issues you gotta consider how you are treating it. while I am not aquising you of tossing around your laptop I gotta ask how do you treat it/use it on a daily basis? I've had an issue or two with apple in my day as well, but something thats consecutive and as steady as yours it seems a bit extreme.

To answer your question Probably not, I would say nothing short of it catching fire (conclusively) would get you a refund. I know its aggravating when this happens but when you buy a product its more of a service to offer any refund at all (usually for the 1st 30 days) which is something even then they can deny if they feel that its been abused or tampered with.
