Samsung or AU Optronics LCD ?

Thread Starter
I have an XPS M140 with a AUO1244 Truelife screen but the screen has a few dead pixels and 10% bottom light leakage.

I was sent a replacement LCD SEC3157 but the whites and grays are undistinguishable and the bottom bleeds 20% light...

Can u guide me what to do. I have an option of returning this new samsung one and asking another one ...

Any siggestions please ?

Just an UPDATE,

WOW !

Just got another replacement LCD... Luckily and Surpisingly, its a Quanta QDS0048!!!

Initially I thought AU Optronics was the best I have but now when I compare it to Quanta, the sharpness is amazing ! I never knew an LCD could be this sharp.

The colors need to be tweaked a little, the bleeding is same as the AUO....

BUT NO dead pixels and amazing clarity !
