Well what can I say, I needed that little bit of extra storage that as a family we could all use. After searching around I narrowed it down to three suppliers, not the cheapest, but all well...
I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...
This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented.
Overall A+++
If you guys need a software solution, try TotalRecorder. It installs a 'virtual soundcard' that can record any audio stream that runs through your machine.

Check my sig, I already have 2 sound cards for both my notebooks, but, thanks anyway, that's good to know, maybe it will help out some of those who don't
I was suffering from the same problem with my X61 and was rather stunned that there was no wave out. While I don't expect much in terms of sound from an ultra portable, it had existed on my X30.
I went the slightly unconventional and cheap route, but it works well. I bought a a cable and just ran it from the headphone out into the mic in. Then I use the mic in to do the recording. As with wave out you have to drop the input level very low, but the quality was fine and the cost was about $2.
I did exactly what you wrote below and yet when I tried recording stereo mix, there's no sound. Can someone help me? I am using Lenovo Thinkpad T61p.
I have exactly the same issue, using a T61p, XP, SoundMax HD. Followed the instructions to get the stereo-mix to show up but cannot record anything at all. Did any of you found a solution to this issue?
I have the identical problem as generalsu. I have a lenovo x61 running xp. no stereo mix option available. this means when you go into SOUNDS from control panel and you select recording devices, there is only an option for MIC, which is the crummy mic built in to the laptop. There is no "line in" or no "stereo mix" option. I'd like those. Lenovo tech support guesses that the soundcard manufacturer limits this to prevent ripping of music. Does anyone have any other ideas? Please assist. I already hate this $2600 laptop.
