I know this is an old thread, but I'm a new member, so perhaps you will forgive me for posting in it.
I have just had this Clevo/Logiq model M76s notebook given to me. I have only ever had desktop PC's, so laptop's are new to me.
The notebook had Windows Vista installed. I formatted the hdd and installed Windows XP Pro with my Windows Genuine Advantage CD. After installation I checked 'device manager' and found a few driver files with question marks against them. I managed to find and install sound, Lan and wireless drivers, but I can't find these :-
? base system device..
? base system device..
? modem device on high definition audio bus..
? video controller (vga compatible)..
I've tried unistalling them one by one and re-booting. Windows finds them but will not re-install them.
This notebook seems to be working ok 'as is' so should I just forget the faulty drivers and install my Xmas decorations??...lol
any help would be apreciated by this 'old fart'...Bill...lol
