XTreme-G MobileForce VS 101.41 M6 RELEASED!!! - Page 2

I'll be glad to get some help around here , whenever I try to install these I get a "Vga compatible" in the device manager , I followed the Installation procedure completly (driver cleaner , safe mode etc..)
i'm having a quadro 2500m , but I even try flashing my card to 7900gtx with still the same problems (stupid move I know but I was desperate)
did any1 else get these problem ? do I need to change something in the inf ?

heard this driver rocks , which makes things even more irritating !
btw I use x64 (and yes I d/l the x64 version)
thanks to who ever try to help me.

i think the 64bit may not work, as I can't get 'em to install either

Installed the driver on my E1705 ... smooth video but one little bluetooth quirk. Installed the driver the first time and disabled all of my cards except the blutooth. Rebooted after install and the wheel/side buttons on my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth mouse would not work. Un-installed the driver ... shut off all of my cards .... installed driver ... reboot ... enable all the cards and mouse wheel/buttons worked. Great, I say.

Now boot up the computer today and mouse wheel/buttons would not work. Strange, I say ... so for the heck of it I try Fn + F2 to shut off and turn back on bluetooth ... mouse works. Great, I say.

Then while I was typing this (the first time) my toolbar disappears and my processors peg out to 100% ... computer slows down ... get some kind of error message about I/O and my sidebar about something not loading right ... computer "goes into the fetal position" .... hard drive light comes on ... stay on ... screen is blank .... so I have to do a hard boot. Don't know if this is related to the video driver or not but it seem to be working well now. Will report back if it does it again and try to describe the error messages better.

Sorry this is so long ... but other then the above troubles and the color settings (described earlier) not staying set this seems to work.

Ha Ha Funny. Driver Installed fine on my lappie, and the drivers run great, 3dmark05 is scoring 6500's which was a 100point increase in performance. I Love Them Thanks

not sure if this will apply to Vista, but under XP I got that crappy messages, I went back in the safe mode and uninstall the driver again. clean out everythings, then install it again, it worked for me

Got the same problem (really frustrating after a couple of restarts) but then I installed the drivers manually through the device manager and everything works like a charm… although I’m not sure if this method leaves some component outside of the installation. <o></o>
<o></o>
The only thing that got me a little worried (even though I have no real evidence that the new drivers are the cause) is that a couple of days ago I got my first BSOD under Vista (just surfing the web and using messenger) after almost 4 weeks of zero problems. <o></o>

Thanx for the drivers Tony but theres a problem.

I installed these from here and the same ones from lv2go. The issue I'm having is that I cannot play Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusade after these drivers are installed. When I click the desktop icon to launch the game it says "Your hardware does not support Transform&Lighting". Big problem. When I revert back to stock drivers the game launches. Is there a solution to this and is anyone else with this game having the same issue?

P.S.- This driver did raise my 3DMARK05 score from 1208 to 1458 and also increased my Turbocache from 303MB to 527MB. So the performance is there just not being able to play my favorite game with them kills me. Plz help!

Hey guys... as I had that problem in the installation, saying that I'm not under the Vista, I tried to use the LaptopVideo2Go (nVIDIA ForceWare X 101.41 for Windows Vista 32bit" (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...howtopic=13185). Hopefully, It worked and installed without problems (they have the .inf files for mobiles cards).

It also bumped up my 3dMark05 score, from 5.846 (using the stock graphics driver, but I think that WinUpdate upgraded it too)... to 6.408 using the "laptopvideo2go ForceWare X 100.65 for Windows Vista 32bits".

I don't have games installed yet, but I'll have some soon =)

Edit: Yes, It also changed the "shared memory"... Vista was saying that I had 256MB shared memory from my RAM besides the dedicated 256MB. Now, It's saying that I have 256MB dedicated PLUS 495MB "shared system memory", being a total of 751MB video memory, LOL. Is it just a bug or the 7900GS has "hypermemory" feature that I've never seen before?? :S

Well I isntalled these drivers and was able to play WOW(digital Crack) maxxed at 60fps with no drop in FPS all of a sudden. Where as the LTV2G 101.41 drivers would cause a random crash in Games performance. These drivers are the best I have used so far. Thanks

Also you may want to try turning off process's in vista.

I also too have a gaming issue with these, it seems that Oblivion took a massive performance hit when I installed these drivers, not a few frames but 20FPS hit, the stuttering was almost unbearable so i checked my fps ingame and it was a shocker.

These drivers kept me at the same performance as my previous driver so i felt that they were doing fine till i load this game up and wham....

anyone else expirencing this?

I deleted the ini with all the performance mods cause i figured they're might have been a problem there but the same thing happens with the original ini file.

I am also getting that bad studdering in both Fear & Dark Massiah.

my fps in atitool didnt change I still get half of what my friend gets with win xp and the same system but gaming seems a little bit better
post #34 of 68
i still can't get these to install. has anyone tried the 64bit drivers yet?
Well I cleared oblivion up, infact I now have a increase in FPS from original. The Problem? No Clue, I uninstalled Oblivion instead of the driver, and re-installed it with all my mods and without the Performance enhanced INI and everything is working great.

I still have slight studdering cause i havent teaked the ini yet, which of course its oblivion everything studders on it. But its fixed now. so yay....time to kill some crabs with my mystic elf.
oblivion is the touchy freakin game ive ever played...i mean you can literally install adobe flash player and you will lose 10fps...next day install microsoft word and gain 20...i think they had limited testing platforms when they beta'ed this game.
Add me to the list that can not get these installed correctly.
I have to go thru a manual install of these drivers to get them installed (which is a dirty way to do it).
The 2 errors I got were... no compatable device found and not running vista

So, I ran the ones from laptopvideo2go and they installed just fine.

SO, there is something wrong with the installer that these have.

When I install the old drivers the screen just goes blank. Will it eventually come back? Or should I just turn off the computer
