Anyone using 16MB buffer drives in RAID?

Just poking my curiosity and I am going to install two 16mb buffered drives into an AW 5750. I am going to run them in RAID 0.
My question is, has anyone done this? What kind of differences did you notice too?
Any comments would be great!
Thanks!

I have 2 500 Gb WD Caviar drives (16 Mb buffer) on a PCI SATA RAID card in a server I have. Honestly, don't know about performance, but having one huge drive was exactly what I was looking for. PCI limits the bandwidth the drives are able to transmit, so my performance won't be what you'll see (I mean, you're on full SATA bandwidth- 1.5 or 3 Gb/s).

I've got 3 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 400 GB drives in RAID 5.

No issues and bandwidth seems to be OK.

Then again, I have a discrete RAID controller with hardware RAID 5.
