Sentia 3450 - BlueTooth?

So, I guess I'm confused. Does this new Alienware 3450 that I have have built-in BLuetooth or not?

I can't seem to get it to work, if it does. Or do these things require a "dongle"?

Anybody?

The Sentia 3450 does not have built-in Bluetooth. It has an Internal IntelĀ® PRO Wireless 3945 a/b/g Mini-Card which is different.

Bluetooth allows wireless communication with certain devices that support it, take it as having he ability to communicate with your printer without wires.

The internal Intel Wireless card allows you to connect to other computers and computer networks wirelessly.

Both technologies serve different purposes. If you need bluetooth you can simply get a USB bluetooth adapter, they are usually the size of a thumb drive.

Ya. You need a dongle. The first models of the M3450 did have a built-in Bluetooth, but it caused some issues and was removed.
