Upgrading GPU

I recently purchased a Asus Z53Jc, im happy with everything but the graphics card and i was wondering is it possible to upgrade asus gpus?

the folks here have tried to compile a list of all known MXM notebooks. As your notebook isn't on the list, I'd say that you can't upgrade the graphics card.

What can i do to increase my game performance it plays wow, oblivion and fear fine but not looking so great.

if the video card isn't upgradeable, there isn't anything you can do right now. there's some talk about the asus XG (external gaming card) but.. that isn't out, and even when it come out, it's gonna cost you a few hundred bucks. also, i think the way it's been presented, you'd have to carry another "brick" (and quite a large one, based on my understanding) with your laptop.

IMHO, you should return the laptop and buy a laptop with sufficient graphics performance.

Don't consider the asus XG. It runs over expresscard, which gives it a pciex1 speed. Graphics cards run on pciex16.

If asus really wanted people to upgrade their laptop graphics cards, they would make the cards available (normally they are removable).
