What's the best laptop (clip-on) webcam?

I've asked a similar question before, and I got all kinds of desk top webcam suggestions. The sky's the limit with those things.
-I'm talking strictly portable, made for a laptop, clip-on stick-on or whatever, but definitely not a desk top camera.

I see the Microsoft "Lifecam NX 6000" supposedly is 2 MP video, and 7.6 MP (interpolated ) for still shots @ 3200 x 2380 pixels.
At the very least, that's about the physical size of camera I like.

I don't care so much about the video for IMing- apparently there's an industry standard that states that they must all all suck, I dunno.

But I want a tiny webcam that can take large, clean, wide angle stills.

Currently I have a Logitech QuickCam and a little Creative webcam. Using their original softwares and another program, I'm not particularly impressed with either of them.

Ligtech Quickcam for Notebooks Pro is a very nice camera when it comes to the format.

Don't really know about the still image specs though

I have to ask...do you need a wide angle for your fat head or what?

LOL

I still like the one I gave you before, quickcam deluxe

I got it a lot cheaper than that, and I find it better than my desktop one:

Yeah, I have to hold the damn thing at arms length just to squeeze in my head.

I already have two of those.
I'm talking SUPER small.

Kitty wittyyyy....

You should get very creative and use some of that artistic ability and try to get a camera to fit in the the bezel

...MmmmmHmm!

I'm already working on melding the guts of one of the Quickcams to 60mm Bauer Vario 8x zoom lens coupled with a 10-25 monocular.

...Kewl.

Then the next project is a microscope, which is fairly easy.

But all these projects need better than 1.3 MP to produce photos that are even worth the fun of tinkering. (>1.3 real MP, not that "interpolated" crap!)
