We have a new Dell Inspiron E1505.
It booted up OK first time out of the box. I think it booted ok the 2nd time too. The third time, not.
The battery was fully charged by this time. Holding down the power button, it would begin to start and then just stop and go dead. After trying a few things and pulling some hair out, I discovered that by taking the battery out and putting it back in, after doing that, the computer started as if there was no problem.
This usually works to allow the computer to get started. Often it won't start.
Does this sound like a battery problem? Is this kind of problem common?
Thanks
